Authorize.Net: MD5 Hash End of Life & Signature Key Replacement (2019-01)

Modified on Fri, 25 Jan, 2019 at 8:06 AM

Authorize.Net recently announced that they will be deprecating and removing the legacy MD5 Hash and transaction signing, and replacing them with a SHA-512 alternative.

ParadoxLabs Authorize.Net CIM stores the MD5 hash but does not otherwise use it. As such, these changes should not impact the operability of our extension, nor require an update.

This is true for all current extension versions (1.x to 4.x) on both Magento 1 and Magento 2.
