After editing existing subscription options on a product you may notice that customers will see the message "Some of the selected options are not currently available." when viewing their subscription under their account. This is an expected side effect to our leverage of Magento's custom options system.
We advise setting product subscription options at the start and not editing their frequency, length, or installment/adjustment prices after.
For now we do not have any plans to tackle our reliance on these custom options.
The cause for this situation is that when custom options are changed, Magento recreates them with new custom option ID's which causes the frontend subscription view to lose track of the custom option it was assigned. This does not affect the subscription itself, as all required information is stored (and also still viewable to the customer) by other subscription fields.
As of version 3.6.0, a configuration option exists to allow customers to select an updated frequency and length combination. This will reflect correctly on the customer view and can resolve this error message in those cases.
