If you encounter this error it is likely that you have just setup or changed your First Data gateway/terminal or Payeezy details and some information is not connected or setup correctly.
If you are sure that you've followed all the steps in the user manual, following the steps from page 6 for the configuration, you will want to reach out to support.payeezy@firstdata.com to request they confirm everything is wired correctly and any setup they are required to do has been completed. To expedite their response, please also provide them with the following information in your query:
First Data:
- Merchant Username
- Gateway ID
- Merchant ID
Payeezy:
- API Key
- API Secret
- Merchant Token
If you attempted a transaction you will also want to grab the correlation_id from the log located at {Magento site root}/var/log/tokenbase.log to help First Data further narrow down any possible issues, especially if this error arises after previously working transactions.
Should FirstData be unable to assist you, open a support ticket with us with the steps you've taken so far and the aforementioned log so we may assist you further.
